The History of TBB Tours:
Pioneering Guided Motorcycle Tours in Thailand
The Origins of Big Bike Riding in Thailand (2002)
The origins of TBB Tours date back to 2002, when the company filled a major gap in the Thai tourism market by offering imported "big bikes" for rent. At the time, large-capacity motorcycles were incredibly rare in Thailand, where domestic small-cc scooters dominated the roads. Operating under the name "Tony’s Big Bikes," the business quickly gained a reputation among expats and travelers craving real motorcycle adventures.

Shifting Gears: From Rentals to Guided Tours (2013–2018)
As major manufacturers like Kawasaki and Triumph established a presence in Thailand, reliable adventure motorcycles became readily available. Capitalizing on this, the company evolved in 2013 from a basic rental shop into a premium guided motorcycle tour operator. Leveraging years of local road expertise and guiding bus tours for package tourists, TBB began designing curated routes across Southeast Asia.
In 2018, the business transitioned into a fully online, tour-focused model. By closing the physical rental shop, TBB shifted 100% of its energy toward organizing world-class “all inclusive” guided motorcycle holidays.

Rebranding to Thai Bespoke Bike Tours (2023)
To commemorate over two decades of successful operations, the company officially rebranded in 2023 to Thai Bespoke Bike Tours. This change allowed the brand to retain its iconic "TBB" acronym while staying close to its core mission: organising the absolute best guided motorcycle tours in Thailand and Laos.

A New Chapter: Fresh International Energy (2025 & Beyond)
In 2025, Lander and Dick, two passionate Belgian motorcycle enthusiasts living in Thailand, took ownership of TBB Tours from the original founders as they were retiring. Both had been guiding round trips through Thailand as professional tour leaders for more than 15 years. Being Thailand experts and sharing a love for ‘big bike adventures’, they are proud to build upon the company’s rich 20+ year heritage.
Bringing fresh energy and a global perspective, Lander and Dick are dedicated to providing old and new clients alike with unforgettable riding experiences, premium customer service, and the ultimate big bike adventures in Southeast Asia.
